Shipping policy

To ensure a smooth and satisfactory delivery experience, please review the following shipping guidelines:

  1. Shipping Timeframe:

    • Once your order is confirmed and processed, please allow:
    • 5-8 business days for order to be packaged and sent off for all (ceramics, picture frames , lighting etc. )
    • 10-14 business days for all mirrors, for packaging and handling before shipment. (MIRROR ORDERS ARE PICK UP ONLY.
    • Shipping times may vary depending on your location and the shipping method selected at checkout. (WE ONLY SHIP MIRRORS WITHIN A 30 KM RADIUS OF CENTURION
  2. Packaging and Handling:

    • Your mirror will be carefully packaged to prevent damage during transit.
    • We use high-quality packaging materials and take extra precautions for fragile items.
    • In the unlikely event that your mirror arrives damaged, please contact us immediately for assistance.
  3. Tracking Information:

    • Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing tracking information. We do use a third party shipping company , which will be in contact with you during the shipping phase. 
    • Use this tracking number to monitor the status of your shipment and estimate the delivery date.
  4. Delivery Options:

    • Standard shipping for smaller items: 5-8 days business days. 
    • Mirrors can be collected 10-14 production phase for all mirrors.
    • Please note that expedited shipping may incur additional charges.
  5. Delivery Requirements:

    • Ensure that someone is available to receive the package at the delivery address provided.
    • If no one is available to receive the package, the carrier may leave a delivery notification with instructions for redelivery or pickup.
  6. Inspecting Your Shipment:

    • Upon receiving your order, please inspect the packaging for any signs of damage.
    • If the packaging appears to be damaged, please note it on the delivery receipt and refer to our return policy for more information. 
    • Carefully inspect the order for any visible damage. If damage is found, please contact us immediately for assistance.

    • Our customer support team is here to assist you with any questions or concerns regarding your shipment.

 LIABILITY FOR BREAKABLE ITEMS

Definition: For the purpose of this clause, "breakable items" refers to any goods or merchandise that are fragile and susceptible to damage during handling, including but not limited to glassware, ceramics, electronics, and similar items.

 

Packaging and Handling:

·         28 DÉCOR is responsible for ensuring that all breakable items are properly and securely packaged to withstand normal handling and transportation.

·         All packaging materials used must be of sufficient quality and quantity to protect the items from damage.

Inspection and Notification:

·         The Client must inspect all breakable items upon receipt and notify 28 DÉCOR in writing of any damages or defects within 24 hours of delivery.

·         Failure to notify 28 DÉCOR within the specified time frame will result in the presumption that the items were delivered in good condition and the Client accepts the items as is.

 Limitation of Liability:

·         28 DECOR shall not be liable for any damages to breakable items unless it is proven that such damage was caused by the gross negligence or wilful misconduct of 28 DECOR or its employees.

·         In the event that 28 DECOR is found liable for damages, the liability shall be limited to the lesser of the repair or replacement cost of the damaged item or the value declared by the Client prior to the shipment.

·         Under no circumstances shall 28 DÉCOR be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of revenue, loss of profits, or any other economic loss.

Insurance:

·         The Client is encouraged to obtain appropriate insurance coverage for breakable items to cover potential risks of damage or loss during transportation and handling.

·          Third party companies offers optional insurance for an additional fee, which the Client can purchase to provide coverage beyond the limitations stated herein. The terms and coverage of this insurance will be governed by the insurance provider's policy.

Indemnity:

·         The Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless 28 DÉCOR, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of or related to the handling, transportation, or damage of breakable items, except to the extent caused by 28 DECOR’s gross negligence or wilful misconduct.

 

By using 28 DECOR’s services for the handling or transportation of breakable items, the Client acknowledges and agrees to the terms set forth in this Liability Clause for Breakable Items.

BY PURCHASING FROM 28 DÉCOR YOU AGREE THAT YOU HAVE READ AND ACCEPT ALL TERMS AND CONDITIONS LISTED ABOVE.
